The invention provides a power plant grid-connection verification system based on network communication. The system comprises an information sending device, a remote transmission device, a controller, a judgment unit and a trading terminal which are in communication connection. The information sending device stores information data of a power plant and sends the information data to the controller through the remote transmission device. The judgment unit issues a grid-connection verification passing instruction after receiving correct information data sent by the controller, and sends the instruction and the data of the power plant to the trading terminal. The trading terminal stores the received grid-connection verification passing instruction and the data of the power plant. The invention further provides a grid-connection verification method based on the system. According to the power plant grid-connection verification system based on network communication and the control method thereof provided by the invention, power plant grid-connection verification and power plant information transmission can be completed on a management platform, newly grid-connected power plants can be managed automatically, and a lot of manpower and materials and time cost are saved.
