The invention provides an online identification method for adjustment of a gas sensor of a coal mine safety monitoring system. The method comprises steps as follows: a, the gas sensor is controlled to output characteristic frequency in various adjustment states; b, the characteristic frequency is subjected to real-time analysis, and the adjustment states are identified; c, sensor operation is judged according to the identified adjustment states, and the adjustment process and time are counted. According to the online identification method for adjustment of the gas sensor of the coal mine safety monitoring system, a normal output frequency range of the sensor can be avoided, the sensor is adjusted by adopting the characteristic frequency, the normal output of the sensor is not influenced, and online identification of the adjustment states is realized through the real-time analysis of the characteristic frequency.
