The invention discloses a manufacturing process for a dry grinding diamond grinding wheel and belongs to the technical field of grinding tools for building materials. The diamond grinding wheel comprises a grinding wheel base body and diamond tool bits arranged on the grinding wheel base body. The manufacturing process of the diamond grinding wheel includes the steps that the diamond tool bits are formed by evenly mixing raw material powder and then carrying out hot pressed sintering on the powder; the diamond tool bits and the grinding wheel base body are welded into a whole through a brazing process to form the diamond grinding wheel, wherein the process parameters of thermal pressing and sintering are the sintering temperature ranging from 670 DEG C to 730 DEG C, the pressure ranging from 150 kg/cm<2> to 250 kg/cm<2> and the temperature maintaining time ranging from 1 minute to 2 minutes, and the brazing process parameters are the brazing temperature ranging from 700 DEG C to 780 DEG C and the brazing time ranging from 10 seconds to 15 seconds. By the adoption of the manufacturing process, the mechanical performance of the tool bits is improved and the effective grinding effect can be better achieved in the dry grinding process; and meanwhile the specific brazing process is adopted, so that the combination strength of the tool bits and the base body meets the actual requirement.
