The invention relates to a universal ground wire connector comprising a connecting plate, a latch, a first nut, and a linking plate. The connecting plate and the latch are respectively fixed on the linking plate. A plugging hole where a cylindrical ground wire pile head passes is formed in the connecting plate; and an external thread matching the first nut is formed in the latch and thus the first nut is connected to the latch in a screwing mode, so that locking between the latch and a hole type ground wire pile head is realized after the latch passes through the hole type ground wire pile head. The provided connector has high universality and can be used conveniently; effective connection with two kinds of existing ground wire pile heads can be realized. For the cylindrical ground wire pile head, the cylindrical ground wire pile head can pass through the plugging hole of the connecting plate; and for the hole type ground wire pile head, the latch can pass through the hole type ground wire pile head and then the first nut is screwed to the latch for locking. Moreover, the connector with a simple structure can be manufactured easily and the manufacturing cost is low.
