The invention discloses a horizontal reaction kettle comprising a kettle body of the horizontal reaction kettle. A driving main shaft is horizontally arranged in the kettle body. One end of the driving main shaft is connected with a driving motor. At least two helical ribbon agitators are arranged on the main shaft in the kettle body. The two helical ribbon agitators are arranged opposite to each other in the axial direction. A shearing chamber is formed between the two helical ribbon agitators. Each helical ribbon agitator includes an inner helical ribbon and an outer helical ribbon. The centerline of the inner helical is helically wound around a cylinder with the driving main shaft as a centerline. The horizontal reaction kettle provided by the invention assists in solving the problems of low agitation efficiency, low agitation quality, unreasonable structural design and vulnerability to failures of agitation tank types of prior arts.
