The invention provides a condensation type gas water heater which comprises a flue gas heat exchanging chamber, a condensation heat exchanger arranged in the flue gas heat exchanging chamber, and an atomization device, wherein the atomization device is used for collecting condensate water dropping from the condensation heat exchanger, atomizing the collected condensate water, and discharging the atomized condensate water out of the condensation type gas water heater along with flue gas. According to the invention, the atomization device is arranged, so that water steam releases latent heat to convert into liquid water, the liquid water is atomized and then discharged out of the condensation type gas water heater along with the flue gas, liquid-state condensate water is prevented from dropping, the condensation type gas water heater operates more reliably, the potential risk caused by indoor discharging of acid condensate water is avoided at the same time, and the condensation type gas water heater has higher safety. The condensation type gas water heater is not provided with a condensate water drain pipe, so that the condensation type gas water heater is attractive in appearance and convenient to use, and has better user experience after installation.
