The invention provides a combined unit for producing zinc-magnesium alloy coated steel plates and color-coated sheets and a production method of the combined unit. The combined unit is mainly composed of an inlet section, a degreasing section, a continuous plating vacuum deposition (PVD) section, a chemical roller coating section, a primary coating section, a finish coating section, a laminating section and an outlet section. According to the combined unit, the inlet section and the outlet section of the color-coated unit can be used to the maximum extent, color-coated sheets of zinc-coated base plates, the zinc-magnesium alloy coated steel plates and color-coated sheets of base plates of the zinc-magnesium alloy coated steel plates can be produced through the same unit while the initial investment of unit equipment is reduced, and three purposes are achieved through one unit; production flexibility, quick market responsibility and production efficiency can be improved.
