The invention discloses a testing system for a screw pump ground driving device and an application method of the testing system. The testing system can test the performance of the screw pump ground driving device comprehensively, guarantee the production, maintenance and ex-factory quality of the screw pump ground driving device and avoid application faults of the screw pump ground driving device. The testing system comprises a testing motor, an electrical control cabinet and a duplex sensor. The tested screw pump ground driving device is fixed on a working table of a base and driven by a working motor of the tested screw pump ground driving device, and an axial loader is connected with a hydraulic station through a hydraulic line; the testing motor is connected with a reduction gearbox and is fixed at the lower part of the base, a rod body of the transmission shaft penetrates through the base, the axial loader, the tested screw pump ground driving device and the duplex sensor, a torque transmission hoop is fixed at the upper part of the rod body of the transmission shaft, and the lower end of the rod body is connected with an output end of the reduction gearbox; the testing motor, the hydraulic station, the working motor of the tested screw pump ground driving device and the duplex sensor are all connected with the electrical control cabinet through cables.
