The present invention discloses a generation method and apparatus for a grid wiring diagram. The method comprises the steps: acquiring graphical symbols of a plurality of distribution network devices in a grid; acquiring a hierarchical relationship and a connection relationship between the plurality of the distribution network devices, wherein the hierarchical relationship represents, in a real power supply process of the grid, a hierarchical relationship between different distribution network devices in the plurality of the distribution network devices; and according to the hierarchical relationship and the connection relationship, connecting the graphical symbols of the plurality of the distribution network devices layer by layer to form a layer-by-layer distributed grid wiring diagram according to the hierarchical relationship. According to the generation method and apparatus provided by the present invention, the technical problem of layout confusion in the grid wiring diagram is solved.
