Disclosed are a method and system of expressing a stereo image through a stacked structure to analyze a target in an image. The method includes the steps: for an input stereo image, generating at least one first first-stage structure diagram on the basis of the first type associated characteristic, criterion or model of the stereo image, wherein different first first-stage structure diagrams are generated according to different strictness levels of the first type associated characteristic, criterion or model, and contain targets in terms of different first segmentation degrees; and at least partially utilizing the at least one first first-stage structure diagram to analyze a target in the stereo image to obtain structure diagrams, containing targets, of first-stage target analysis results.
