An electric cable peeling apparatus is used for peeling waste electric cables so as to recover and reuse the waste electric cables. The electric cable peeling apparatus comprises a cutter assembly, a clamp assembly, a translation assembly, a horizontal beam, a support rack and a lift-drop assembly, wherein the cutter assembly comprises a lower support, a cutter, a first slide block and a cutter driving mechanism; a cover plate is fixed on the top portion at the left side of the lower support; the first slide block is slidingly mounted on the cover plate; the cutter is fixed on the first slide block; the cutter driving mechanism for driving the first slide block to reciprocate is set in an inner cavity of the lower support; an upper support is set above the lower support; a second slide block is slidingly mounted on a lower portion of the upper support; the translation assembly used for driving the second slide block to reciprocate is set between the second slide block and the upper support; the horizontal beam is set below the second slide block; the lift-drop assembly used for driving the horizontal beam to lift and drop is set between the second slide block and the horizontal beam; and the clamp assembly used for clamping the electric cables is set on a lower portion of the horizontal beam. By adopting the apparatus provided herein, the peeling operation to the electric cables can be realized effectively.
