The invention provides a power grid operation protection real-time online analysis method, which comprises the steps of: (1) acquiring wide-area fault wave-recording information online in real time from a secondary information acquisition main station system of a dispatching control center; (2) re-sampling wave-recording data in transformer substations, and combining all wave-recording data of the same transformer substation; (3) calculating whether a differential current of a region in which primary equipment is positioned is out of limit or not, and thereby determining a fault element; (4) determining corresponding protection obligatory actions according to the fault element; (5) and extracting actual protective action signals synchronously. The power grid operation protection real-time online analysis method can evaluate performance of power grid operation protection more truly and objectively through the actual wave-recording data and actual protection action signals of the transformer substations, completes the derivation of protective actions online by utilizing field operation data, and is fast and more objective when comparing the derived protective actions with the actual protective actions synchronously.
