The invention discloses a method for province and region coordinative distributed state estimation based on cloud computing. The method realizes information sharing mechanism of model cloud and data cloud among different dispatching systems by using an electric power system to dispatch a cloud computing platform. All province and region dispatching system computing resources in a provincial power grid range are integrated together, and advantages of uniform maintenance and management on the provincial power grid models by using electric power cloud model service are used to realize province and region coordinative distributed state estimation. Through the province and region coordinative distributed state estimation, state estimation computing power of current province and region dispatching systems can be integrated to the largest extent, and on the premise of not increasing state estimation calculation scale of the existing systems, capability of calculating state estimation of large-scale power grids is improved, and problems that measured data is transformed in large amount in different dispatching system intranets when a large power grid is calculated are prevented. The method provides technical support for processing large power grids by state estimation, and has very important application value for improving application of state estimation in the large power grids.
