The invention relates to an irregular splicing material dry-hanging structure and a construction method thereof. The structure comprises an architecture structural body, a steel frame and an installation component, wherein a facing decoration material is arranged on the steel frame through the installation component, and the steel frame is fixed to the architecture structural body; the installation component comprises a cellular board and flexible structural adhesive, the cellular board is arranged on the steel frame, and the facing decoration material adheres to the cellular board through the flexible structural adhesive; the facing decoration material is an irregular splicing material. The irregular splicing material dry-hanging structure and the construction method thereof are not affected by the water absorption rate of the material, and falling off of the facing decoration material can be prevented; construction technology is simple, and construction time can be shortened; splicing assembly is adopted in the whole process, the facing decoration material is not polluted, and generation of construction waste is reduced; besides, the facing decoration material does not peel off even if the steel frame vibrates slightly under air motion.
