The invention relates to a fatigue testing apparatus for a member. The member is a steel-quality member. The testing apparatus comprises a fatigue test assembly, a refrigeration assembly, and a controlling element. The fatigue test assembly contains a pedestal, a fixed rack arranged on the pedestal, and a clamp for fixing the steel-quality member; and the clamp is made of metal. The refrigeration assembly includes a low-temperature box for placing the steel-quality member and a liquid nitrogen container connected with a programmable controller; and a heating couple is arranged in the liquid nitrogen container. According to the testing apparatus, the steel structure can be tested on the low-temperature condition; the production cost is low; and the operation is simple.
