The invention discloses an intelligent power network unified information communication system and method based on an IPv6 technology. An IPv6 protocol is taken as a basis, by use of standard protocols as an SIP, an RTP, T.38 and the like, communication with such voice devices as an IP telephone, a voice gateway and the like is carried out, intercommunication with an e-mail server is performed by use of such mail protocols as an SMTP, POP3 and the like, access into the mobile network of a service provider is realized by use of a short message gateway, and such services as unified receiving, management, storage, extraction, message prompting and the like of various messages (including voice messages, fax mails, e-mails) are provided for users, such that user application is simplified, and the work efficiency is improved.
