The invention discloses a method used for producing natural gas via sulfurtolerant methanation. According to the method, coke oven gas and synthesis gas are delivered into a gas holder for complete mixing so as to obtain a crude raw material gas with a hydrogen-carbon molar ratio of 2.0 to 3.6; the crude raw material gas is subjected to compression and sulfurtolerant methanation, gas obtained via methanation is purified so as to remove harmful gas hydrogen sulfide; obtained hydrogen sulfide is subjected to desulphurizing and is recycled, and the purified gas is subjected to separation; methane and impurity compositions obtained via reaction are separated so as to produce natural gas, separated H2, CO, and CO2 are taken as relief gas for pressure swing adsorption separation, separated H2 and CO are recycled to sulfurtolerant methanation for cyclic utilization, and separated CO2 and liquid ammonia are subjected to urea synthesis. The method is high in economical efficiency; utilization ratio of raw material gas is increased; and the method is simple.
