This rolling bearing retainer (RT) is formed by insert-molding a resin material with a core bar (1) using a die. In the rolling bearing retainer (RT), the core bar (1) is embedded in a resin section (2) formed from a resin material, and the resin section (2) is provided with support location exposure sections (16) at a plurality of locations. The support location exposure sections expose support locations (6) of the core bar (1) that provide support within the cavity of the die. The resin section (2) comprises an annular body (23) and a plurality of brace bodies (24) that extend axially from this annular body (23) and form pockets (Pt) for retaining turning bodies between the brace bodies. The core bar (1) comprises an annular-body embedded section (3a) that is embedded in the annular body (23) of the resin section (2) and a plurality of brace-body embedded sections (3b) that extend from this annular-body embedded section (3a) and are embedded in the brace bodies. The size difference between the diameters of the turning bodies is 2 [mu]m or less.
