本发明提供在薄层的状态下透湿率低且具有独立性的保护膜。本发明的保护膜通过具有来源于2官能性氨基甲酸酯(甲基)丙烯酸酯的结构的重复单元形成，上述重复单元具有多种饱和环状脂族基，由于为薄层且低透湿率，所以，对于贴合有该保护膜的偏光薄膜，即使在高温高湿环境下偏光薄膜也难以吸湿，偏光薄膜的伸缩得到抑制。
摘要（英）：
The present invention provides a protective film which has a low moisture permeability in a state of thin layer and has an independence property. The protective film is formed by a repeating unit having a structure derived from 2 functionality carbamic acid ester (methyl) acrylate. The repeating unit has multiple saturate cyclic aliphatic groups. A polarization thin film attached with the protective film is not liable to absorb moisture even in the hot and humid environment because the protective film is a thin film and has a low moisture permeability, and thus the contractility of the polarization thin film is restrained.
