The invention relates to a grinding table, especially a polishing table for grinding and/or polishing surface, wherein the grinding table has a work side for machining workpiece and a fixed side, opposed to the work side, for fixing the grinding talbe, the work side has a first abrasive material and a second abrasive material. The invention proposes the second abrasive material faces staggeredly to the fixed side in relative to the first abrasive material.
