The invention relates to a piston slide valve having a valve housing (1) and a piston slide (2), movably mounted in the valve housing, which is reciprocally movable in the valve housing to control or regulate a liquid flow; having a valve drive (3), comprising a rotatable drive shaft (4), which is mechanically connected to the piston slide, to the drive thereof, via a mechanical coupling, wherein the mechanical coupling has an actuating element (5) which is eccentrically attached to the drive shaft and which engages with a coupling piece (6) attached to the radial outside of the piston slide, wherein either the actuating element has a spherical outer surface, which engages in a cylindrical opening of the coupling piece, or the coupling piece has a spherical outer surface which engages in a cylindrical opening (16) of the actuating element.
