The invention relates to a puncture test-used insulation cover suitable for a cable cabin embedded condition. The insulation cover comprises three individual-phase insulation covers; each phase of a three-phase cable is correspondingly provided with one individual-phase insulation cover; the individual-phase insulation covers are of cylinder-shaped structures; the external sides of the individual-phase insulation covers are provided with umbrella skirt structures used for increasing creepage distances; the individual-phase insulation covers directly sleeve high-voltage cable terminal pile heads so as to be used for shading the cable terminal pile heads and isolating the cable terminal pile heads from ground potential at the tops of the insulation covers when a puncture test is performed on a high-voltage cable line; a high-voltage lead for the puncture test is led into the inner side of each individual-phase insulation cover; and the individual-phase insulation covers sleeve corresponding cable terminal pile heads, and then the puncture test is performed. With the insulation cover adopted, the problems of damage to a cable body and generation of a pungent gas when a traditional method used for avoiding the insufficiency of the distance between indoor cable terminal pile heads and surrounding ground potential in a cable line puncture test in a novel transformer and distribution power station cabin is adopted, can be solved.
