The invention belongs to the technical field of papermaking and discloses a high-performance non-woven wallpaper base paper and a preparation method and an application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: putting a plant fiber raw material into a pulpe, and beating to obtain slurry; putting the slurry into a millstone mill beating machine and beating in a free beating manner to obtain paper pulp; adding a fire retardant, an enhancer, a retention aid, a waterproof agent and a filler to the paper pulp, and mixing evenly; carrying out papermaking by a paper machine to obtain molded paper; and gluing the surface of the molded paper, and carrying out hot-pressing drying to obtain the high-performance non-woven wallpaper base paper. The non-woven wallpaper base paper obtained by the preparation method, disclosed by the invention, has good physical property and has high adaptability when used for fabricating the wallpaper.
