The invention discloses an RFID (radio frequency identification) master key system based elevator door control method and system. The method includes: allowing an RFID reader in an elevator to receive a radio frequency signal from a slave lock; determining whether the slave lock enables a safety function; judging whether a radio frequency signal of a master lock linked to the slave lock is received; if yes, determining that an elevator door is normally operable; if not, determining that the elevator door is unable to normally close. An RFID master key system is used to control the elevator door where the slave lock linked to the master lock is located, the chance of an accident possibly caused by a carrier of the slave lock accidentally enters the elevator is reduced, and safety guarantee is improved.
