An engine (E) for a saddled vehicle has an engine case which has a cylinder block (42) formed so as to protrude upward from the upper surface of the front part of a crankcase (40) and which is formed in a substantially L-shape. An air cleaner (55) is disposed behind the cylinder block (42) and above the crankcase (40). A discharge opening (72) for discharging blow-by gas (G), which is present inside the engine (E), is formed in the rear part of the cylinder block (42). A blow-by gas introduction opening (86) for introducing the blow-by gas (G) to the inside of the air cleaner (55) is formed in the case body (84) of the air cleaner (55). The discharge opening (72) of the cylinder block (42) and the blow-by gas introduction opening (86) of the case body (84) are connected by a connection pipe (90). The blow-by gas introduction opening (86) is disposed close to the cylinder block (42).
