Provided is a hydroponics apparatus (1) for raising a plant body (100) having a main root (101) and lateral roots (102), wherein the hydroponics apparatus (1) has: a supporting section (11) for supporting the plant body (100); main root watering sections (12, 13) for watering the main root (101) by spraying a liquid in an atomized state onto the main root (101); lateral root watering sections (31, 32, 33) for watering the lateral roots (102) by soaking the lateral roots (102) in a liquid; and a controller (3) for adjusting the spraying interval and/or the spraying time period by controlling the main root watering sections (12, 13). The controller (3) limits the spraying amount of the liquid sprayed onto the main root (101) to an amount required for the main root (101).
