The invention discloses a novel cutter which comprises a shank and a cutter bit. The cutter bit is provided with a reaming portion, a beveling groove and a perforating portion. A sand layer with the coarse granularity of 380-500 meshes is plated on the surface of the reaming portion, and sand layers with the fine granularity of 600-1200 meshes are plated on the surfaces of the beveling groove and the perforating portion. The novel cutter has the advantages that the structure of the traditional cutter is changed, sand with different types of granularity is plated on the novel cutter, accordingly, listening holes and key holes of touch screens can be machined, the novel cutter is difficult to collapse and long in service life, and the machining efficiency can be greatly improved.
