The invention discloses a hydropower cluster dynamic equivalence method with generalization. The method comprises establishing a hydropower cluster dynamic equivalence model; identifying parameters of the equivalence model under various disturbances; forming initialized data for establishing generalization equivalence model; establishing a characteristic sample space for parameters of the dynamic equivalence model; and establishing a dynamic equivalence model with generalization and parameters. According to the invention, the hydropower cluster dynamic equivalence method has good generalization, and makes up the deficiency that an equivalence model and parameters can only accurately describe a particular disturbance when a general estimate equivalence method is used for dynamic equivalence for a power system at present.
