A porous ceramic tile comprising gamma-alumina and an antibacterial active material is provided. Provided is a method for preparing a porous ceramic tile, comprising the steps of: forming a ceramic molded product by mixing gamma-alumina and an antibacterial active material; preparing a porous ceramic tile by dry press molding the ceramic molded product; drying the molded porous ceramic tile; applying a glaze to the dried porous ceramic tile; and thermally decomposing and firing the glaze-applied porous ceramic tile.
