The present invention provides a technique for selectively observing right-turning or left-turning circularly polarized light when observing an optical function layer for causing circularly polarized light of a specific turning direction to be selectively reflected through a shrink film. A cholesteric liquid crystal layer is arranged on a transparent shrink film 100 caused to shrink so as to cover at least some of an object, the cholesteric liquid crystal layer causing circularly polarized light of a specific turning direction to be selectively reflected on a side of the shrink film 100 that comes into contact with the object. After being shrunk to cover the object, the contraction film 100 exhibits an optical characteristic of not disturbing the polarized state of transmitted light or an optical characteristic of functioning as a (n Lambda/2) plate.
