A tool repair system aids in the repair of malfunctioned inner tool components. The system includes a package having a fully assembled component, and the fully assembled component is located at the top of a component locating structure and fixed by one or more retainers. After removing a malfunctioned component, a tool can be placed on the component locating structure, thereby pulling the retainers away from the fully assembled component, and connecting the fully assembled component to the tool through an opening in the tool. Thus, tool maintenance is rapid and simple, and extensive specialized knowledge of the inner workings of the tool is not required.
