The present invention provides a case member of an airbag device, the airbag device, a method of manufacturing the airbag device, and an apparatus for manufacturing the airbag device. The case member of the airbag device is lighter in weight and easily manufacturable. The case member includes an inner portion (22) integrally formed with an edge portion of an opening portion (40) of a housing portion (31) configured to internally hold a folded airbag (16) and an inflator (15). A lid (32) is fixed to a housing portion (31) at a position where the lid at least partially covers the airbag (16) housed in the housing portion (31). The opening portion (40) is covered by an outer portion (21). Thus, a light-weight case member (14) in which the inflator (15) and the folded airbag (16) are housed in the housing portion (31) and covered by the lid (32) can be manufactured inexpensively, without integration of a separately provided housing portion and lid or fixing the airbag (16) or the inflator (15) using an additional component.
