The invention provides a batched network port switching method and system. The batched network port switching method includes: judging whether switchboard switching needs to be implemented or not; switching a user network line set from a failed running switchboard port to a standby switchboard port; storing switching success information; monitoring running state of each switchboard; when failed switchboards are found by monitoring, judging whether number of the failed switchboards is smaller than or equal to number of backup switchboards or not; detecting whether an upper computer sends back a switching prohibition instruction within a time period set by the system or not; when the upper computer sends back or does not send back the switching prohibition instruction within the time period set by the system, sending a switchboard switching order. By the batched network port switching method and system, a large-scale network port set (copper cable) switchboard failure switching system can be set up by utilizing switchboard sets identical in port number and similar in function configuration, so that a network switching mode which is economical and efficient can be provided.
