The invention relates to a photoelectric heat tube SVC (static var compensator) device. The photoelectric heat tube SVC device is characterized in that a photoelectric triggering mode is adopted, and a thyristor cooling mode is adopted for heat tube radiation; the device is formed by horizontal placement of three-phase valve groups; each phase of valve group is connected with a base through an insulator, is connected with external equipment through a wire inlet conducting bar and a wire outlet conducting bar and comprises two thyristor units, photoelectric triggering plate units, a resistance-capacitance unit, optical fiber groove units and a frame unit, wherein the thyristor units and the photoelectric triggering plate units are arranged on the front side of the valve group, and the thyristor units are in inverse parallel connection through a conducting bar. Compared with the prior art, the photoelectric heat tube SVC device has the advantages that through photoelectric triggering, the valve groups are simple, attractive and convenient to mount and maintain; through heat tube radiation, the valve groups are completely free from maintenance and reliable to operate.
