The invention relates to a container which has a container body that is made of hard and rigid material. The container is provided with a circumferential edge which surrounds the chamber of the container, and a lid which can be placed on the edge. Therefore the lid is configured in a manner that the container is provided with a sealing strip below the lid. The sealing strip can perform sealing between the lower side of the lid and the inner wall of the container. The circumferential sealing strip is guided for penetrating through the lid on at least one position.
