The invention discloses an oil quantity controller for a planetary gear reducer. The oil quantity controller comprises a controller fixing part. The controller fixing part is provided with an oil path connector. The oil path connector is fixedly connected with an electric oil pump. The controller fixing part is further provided with an oil storage part. An oil quantity detection part is arranged on the oil storage part. The oil quantity detection part controls operation of the electric oil pump. The electric oil pump is controlled by a DC motor. The oil storage part is made of plastic. Since the oil quantity detection part is arranged on a machine body of the oil quantity controller for the planetary gear reducer, when the oil quantity in the planetary gear reducer is small, oil can be supplemented in time through the oil pump; accordingly, the working efficiency of the planetary gear reducer is greatly improved.
