The present invention produces a polarizing lens which has excellent impact resistance and appearance, is highly effective against eye fatigue, and rarely undergoes the change in color or transmissibility during molding. A polarizing lens for sunglasses, which comprises a bent polarizing lens or a product produced by the injection molding of a transparent resin for lens use on a depressed surface of the bent polarizing lens, wherein the bent polarizing lens is produced by adhering a transparent protective sheet onto each of both surfaces of a polarizing film with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween and then processing the resultant product so as to have a spherical or aspherical surface, and the polarizing film is produced by stretching a polyvinyl alcohol resin film and dyeing the resin film with dichroic organic dyes, said polarizing lens being characterized in that the dyeing is carried out using the dichroic organic dyes that are so combined as to adjust the dichroic ratio of the polarizing film to a value ranging from 5 to 14.
