The invention discloses a preparation method of compound danshen root thin film coated tablets. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) performing raw material treatment, namely taking 450 parts by weight of danshen root, 141 parts by weight of panax notoginseng and 8 parts by weight of borneol, adding 95% ethanol into danshen root, performing ultrasonic wave extraction for 30 minutes, centrifuging, recycling ethanol from a filtrate, and concentrating to form a thick paste; adding 50% ethanol into medicine residues, performing ultrasonic wave extraction for 30 minutes, centrifuging, recycling ethanol from a filtrate, and concentrating to form a thick paste; and adding water into the medicine residues, performing ultrasonic wave extraction for 30 minutes, centrifuging, and concentrating a filtrate to form a thick paste; (2) tabletting, namely crushing panax notoginseng into fine powder, mixing with the thick pastes and auxiliary materials to prepare granules, drying, finely grinding borneol, uniformly mixing with the granules, and pressing to obtain compressed tablets; and (3) coating, namely putting the compressed tablets into a coating pan, and treating the compressed tablets by adopting a trundle pan coating process until coating liquid is completely sprayed, wherein the use amount of the coating liquid is 0.02-0.05 parts by weight, and the coating liquid consists of the following components in percentage by weight: 10-15% of sodium hydroxyethyl cellulose, 10-15% of a grosvener siraitia extract, 1-3% of microcrystalline cellulose, 0.1-0.5% of guar gum and the balance of purified water.
