The invention discloses a direct current source coordination controller which comprises an information collecting module, a power calculating module, a control parameter setting module and a coordination control module. The information collecting module is respectively in communication connection with the power calculation module and the control parameter setting module. The power calculation module and the control parameter setting module are both in communication connection with the coordination control module. The information collecting module and the coordination control module are both externally connected with direct current sources. The invention further discloses a method for using the direct current source coordination controller to control direct current converter parallel connection. The direct current source coordination controller has the advantages that the controller acquires real-time power and sets a boundary value by collecting the capacities, protecting parameters, limit parameters, real-time output currents and real-time output voltage of the direct current sources, and the power distribution of the direct current sources is adjusted according to the real-time power and the boundary value; the droop control coefficient of direct current converters can be controlled by the controller, and power distribution of the direct current converters can be controlled.
