The invention relates to an intelligent substation ICD model file digital signature verification method. The method comprises the following steps: defining and determining feature content range of an ICD model file; carrying out local analysis and extraction on the feature contents of the ICD model file; carrying out textuality processing on the feature contents to generate abstracts and carrying out encryption to form digital signature values; forming complete signature information and giving the information an XML format; after the device detection is qualified, attaching the signature information to the ICD model file; when engineering model is in integrated configuration, importing the ICD model file of each device, and enabling the signature information of the ICD model file to be transferred and attached to an SCD model file; and after the engineering configuration process is finished, carrying out signature consistency comparison verification on the SCD model file. The method provides an effective and feasible technological means for model control in the engineering construction and debugging process, guarantees the actual device operating model to be completely consistent with the equipment admittance test qualified ICD model file contents, and guarantees safe and reliable operation of the intelligent substation.
