The invention provides a compact type microscope which is regular in appearance, small in size and capable of serving as an embedded element combined with other parts. The compact type microscope is compact in structure, is used for achieving modularized plug and play and platform rapid combination, and can be applied to the fields of laser processing, laser cutting, laser repairing, semiconductor detecting, gene chip inspecting and the like. The compact type microscope comprises an object lens and an ocular lens or a CCD sensor, wherein the object lens is used for forming an object mirror image, the ocular lens is used for observing the mirror image formed by the object lens, and the CCD sensor is used for converting the mirror image formed by the object lens into an electrical signal; the object lens and the ocular lens or the CCD sensor are arranged on the shell wall of a shell, and a first semitransparent and semireflective mirror and an optical path system at least comprising a mirror set are arranged in the shell; light rays coming out of the object lens enter the ocular lens or the CCD sensor through the optical path system after being transmitted through the first semitransparent and semireflective mirror; an illumination system comprising a light source and a collecting lens is further arranged in the shell; light emitted by the light source is gathered through the collecting lens, then is reflected by the first semitransparent and semireflective mirror and enters the object lens.
