The modular split type LED ring illuminator comprises a light-pervious protective cover, a driving power source and multiple LED illuminator modules, wherein the light-pervious protective cover comprises a cavity surface used for accommodating the LED illuminator modules, the driving power source is installed on the light-pervious protective cover and is detachably connected with the light-pervious protective cover, all the LED illuminator modules are electrically connected with the driving power source and detachably and evenly arranged on the cavity surface of the light-pervious protective cover in a surrounding and central symmetry mode, in this way, the internal gravity center of each LED lamp is centered on the circle center so that stability can be improved, and heat generated in each working area can be dissipated evenly and quickly, so that temperatures of different parts are kept consistent and temperature difference is small. The invention further discloses a manufacturing method of the modular split type LED ring illuminator. According to the method, procedures are compact and reasonable, and industrialization can be achieved easily. According to the modular split type LED ring illuminator and the manufacturing method thereof, manual detachment with tools is avoided, structure is optimized, service life is long, and cost is low.
