The invention provides an electromagnetic valve monitoring method and system. The electromagnetic valve monitoring method comprises the following steps of obtaining a pressure value of a pressure sensor of an electromagnetic valve on the condition that the electromagnetic valve is opened at the working position and the pressure of a pump station is normal; judging whether the pressure value is smaller than an opening pressure value of a main valve; if the pressure value is smaller than the opening pressure value of the main valve, judging whether a pressing rod of the electromagnetic valve acts or not; if the pressing rod of the electromagnetic valve does not act, determining that the electromagnetic portion of the electromagnetic valve breaks down. According to the electromagnetic valve monitoring method and system, whether the electromagnetic valve works normally or not is automatically judged by obtaining the working conditions of correlative components of the electromagnetic valve, the specific position of the portion, which breaks down, of the electromagnetic valve can be accurately determined, the portions of the electromagnetic valve do not need to be checked one by one, remote monitoring of working of the electromagnetic valve is achieved, monitoring workloads of the electromagnetic valve are lowered, and the electromagnetic valve monitoring efficiency is improved.
