A furniture unit comprises a containment element (101) defining a receiving compartment (102) and a door (1) equipped with a first panel (2) defining an outer face (1a) of the door, a second panel (3) facing the first panel (2) and defining an inner face (1b) of the door, and an outer frame (4) interposed between the first panel (2) and the second panel (3) and connected to them. The door comprises within it an air vent duct (5) which extends between a first opening (5a) made in the outer frame (4) and a second opening (5b) made in the second panel (3).
