The invention relates to the technical field of hot stamping forming, in particular to a flexible rapid heating method based on blank shape characteristics. The method comprises steps as follows: shape feature recognition is performed on cold blanks under machine vision equipment, and recognition results and obtained blank digital models are fed back to a main control system; then the main control system recognizes that whether the cold blanks are regular or not in shape, the blanks in irregular shapes are conveyed to an induction heating furnace through a conveying system, and the blanks in regular shapes are conveyed to an electric heating furnace; the main control system controls heating areas and heating temperatures of the blanks in the induction heating furnace according to the blank digital models until the blanks are heated to the Curie point; finally, the blanks are conveyed into a resistive heating furnace for heat preservation until the blanks are completely austenitized.
