The present invention relates to a door lock device for a refrigerator or freezer, and more particularly the door lock device has the fastening structure of an external case improved so as to make it impossible to disassemble an internal case fixed on the surface of the door of a refrigerator and a freezer by means of a bolt, and facilitates the assembling and installing process by minimizing the entire volume and component number of an opening/closing means and release means consisting of a latch and a rotational cam cooperating with an outside handle.
