The invention relates to an A/S characteristic test device for a high-voltage alternating current fuse. The device comprises a current generator AC, a series loop of the current generator is connected with a current relay, a fuse clamp and a current transformer, an output contact of the current relay is connected to a timer in parallel, the timer and the current relay are connected in parallel, the current transformer is connected with a current meter in parallel, the fuse clamp is connected with a voltage meter in parallel, and the high-voltage alternating current fuse is connected with the interior of the fuse clamp in series. A current measurement timing circuit is adopted, under power frequency voltage which is much smaller than the fuse voltage of the high-voltage fuse and used for eliminating influence on the fuse from overhigh voltage, different current values are added to the two ends of the fuse to be tested, and then the A/S characteristic curve and related technical data of the fuse of the type can be simulated through current sampling and timing of the timer.
