The invention provides a humidity detection system for a high-voltage equipment region. The humidity detection system comprises a capacitor, a charge circuit, a transmission circuit and a receiving circuit, wherein the capacitor is arranged near high-voltage equipment; the charge circuit is electrically connected with the capacitor; the transmission circuit is connected with the output end of the charge circuit and is used for transmitting a wireless signal; and the receiving circuit is used for receiving the wireless signal. The humidity detection system is capable of detecting the humidity of the high-voltage equipment region within a short period of time, and does not generate drift of a dielectric constant; the accuracy of the final humidity detection result is effectively ensured; and the detection is rapid.
