The invention relates to new application of artocarpus heterophyllus leaves in the pharmaceutical field, and particularly discloses application of the artocarpus heterophyllus leaves to preparing medicines for treating dental ulcer. The artocarpus heterophyllus leaves are abundant in source and low in price, and can be used for industrial production. In addition, the artocarpus heterophyllus leaves are safe, non-toxic and obvious in effect, and have a good medicinal prospect; the good restraining effect on the dental ulcer can be achieved; the good inflammation diminishing and sterilizing effects are achieved; and the safety performance is high.
