A simulation device artificially displays the image that is likely to be seen by a wearer of eyeglasses through said eyeglasses, is configured by providing: an imaging camera (13) for imaging the visual field of the wearer; a range image sensor (14) for detecting, for each image of the same angle of view as the imaging result of the imaging camera (13), distance data in the angle of view depth direction for components of the image; a data-acquiring means for acquiring eyeglass lens data; an image-generating means for performing image-processing of the imaging result of the imaging camera (13) on the basis of the distance data and the lens data and generating a simulation image; and an image display (15) for displaying and outputting the simulation image.
